It’s an easy and delicious cake, made with a few traditional ingredients, a cake that everybody will love. There is no butter, but instead olive oil and milk. So simple that you can ask your kids to make it for you. Great for your kids’ lunchbox

Traditional italian cake made of traditional ingredients: flour,eggs,olive oil and milk. Ideal for kids,lunch boxes and to dip in a glass of milk!
Ingredients:
- unbleached flour - gr. 350
- white sugar - gr. 325
- eggs - 3
- olive oil - gr.100
- whole milk - gr.100
- baking pwder - 2 tsp.
- vanilla - 2 tsp.
- lemon zest - of 1/2 lemon
- oats (opt.) to decorate - 1 tbs.
Instructions:
Preheat the oven at 350 F*.Mix together oil and sugar. Add one egg at the time and mix till batter increases visibly in volume and becomes whiter. Add the vanilla.
Add milk ,flour,and baking powder and mix. At the end add the zest mixing gently by hand. (if use the electric mixer the zest becomes bitter).
Pour the batter in anti-stick (or greased and floured) cake pan. Add some oats on the top to decorate. Place the pan in the middle rack for about 30/40 minutes. Let it cool down before removing it from the pan.
For the super spoiled: cut the cake in half by length and spread it generously with Nutella.
